A group of youth has pitched camp at Lira Central Police Station protesting the arrest and detention of the District Youth Councilor, James Omara and the municipality NRM Chairperson, Bosco Odongo.
The duo was arrested on Saturday after alleging that district leaders including the District Police Commander have shared amongst themselves heifers meant for the poor under Operation Wealth Creation.
By press time, the DPC Ezra Tuguns was in closed door meeting with the Regional Police Commander John Ematu.
