The UN Security Council has called on warring factions in South Sudan to immediately end the recent fighting and prevent the spread of violence.

President Salva Kiir and his Vice Riek Machar have been asked to genuinely and immediately implement the August 2015 peace deal which was supposed to end the conflict.
