Uganda has experienced a partial solar eclipse.

 

The annual solar eclipse was predicted to last 3 hours and 45 minutes starting at close to 10 am and ending at 1:30 pm.

 

The ring of fire eclipse was also visible from Madagascar and locations in Central Africa with the Moon’s shadow also cross parts of the Atlantic and Indian Oceans

 

Here is the capital Kampala, some excited viewers fetched buckets of water as they waited catch a glimpse of the eclipse, even on their phones.
