Dozens of world leaders have arrived for a funeral for former Israeli and one of the country’s founding fathers President Shimon Peres who died on Wednesday aged 93.
Over 90 delegations from 70 countries are expected to participate, including U.S. President Barrack Obama and Palestinian leader Mahmoud Abbas.
Several people have reportedly been arrested following a massive security operation in preparation for the funeral.
Mr Peres suffered a stroke two weeks ago and died in a hospital near Tel Aviv.
