The Inspector General of Police Gen Kale Kayihura says road accidents in Uganda have gone down due to operation Fika Salama swahili for reach safely.
Kayihura made the remarks today as during the activities of the Police week.
Officials from the Directorate of Traffic Police and Ministry of Works and Transport have today offered free medical services and carried out sensitization on safe driving at the railway grounds here in Kampala.
The Police week is an attempt to clean the force’s image in the public. It will go on until the 3rd of October.
