- Uganda Police to mark police week starting tomorrow September 27
The Uganda Police is planing to register and profile residents across the country as a means of fighting crime.
While addressing the media this morning, the police spokesperson AIGP Andrew Felix Kaweesi has revealed that creating local databases is one way of promoting community policing. He added that the Police would like to create their own national data base aside from the data gathered during registration for national identity cards.
The profiling is one of the many activities to be done during the police week running from tomorrow the 27th September to 3rd October.
