Bobi Wine blocked and arrested at Entebbe Airport


    Hon. Robert Kyagulanyi has this afternoon been blocked and arrested by Kampala Metropolitan Police Commander Frank Mwesigwa at Entebbe International Airport on arrival from New York.
    Robert Kyagulanyi, Kyaddondo East Member of Parliament was in New York for the Goalkeepers conference following an invitation from Bill and Melinda Gates.
    Upon arrest a scuffle ensued between Police and Robert Kyagulanyi’s supporters’ on the latter trying to deny the Member of Parliament access to his car.
    According to Kampala Metropolitan Police Commander Frank Mwesigwa, Robert Kyagulanyi is being apprehended for his recent recordings on the Constitution (Amendment) Bill, in connection with the prerequisites for one to vie for Presidency.
    Kyagulanyi’s outspoken stance, specifically on Article 102 (b) states that a person is not qualified for election as president of Uganda if he or she is “less than thirty-five years and or more than seventy-five years of age” sent social media awash.
    Bobi Wine is currently being detained at Entebbe Police station where, he is expected to make a statement.
