#PMLive: The dwindling maize prices have hit hard farmers in the Country

The Government has set aside 2.5 billion shillings to support traders planning to buy maize from farmers who are currently hit by drop in prices.
These funds have been put in banks and traders have been encouraged to start getting this money in form of loans to buy off the maize from the farmers strictly at 500 shillings per kilogram.
