The President for Uganda Squash and Rackets Association John Bosco Tamwesigire has commended the level of competition in the Kabaka’s Birthday Squash tournament.
This was after national seed two Ian Lukunya beat seed one Michael Kawooya in the final.
He did not only win the second Kabaka’s Birthday Squash but also dethroned Kawooya who was the defending champion with a 3 -1 surprise in the best of five.
Makerere University club players Joel Kasibante also came from two games down to beat Mark Musinguzi 2-3 for the third place.
Prince Junju thanked the participants and prayed for the expansion of the game to develop more champions and expansion of the game to schools.
