At least 13,000 people continue to die annually in Uganda as a result of indoor air pollution, according to a report by the ministry of energy.
This is because about 80% of Uganda’s population use paraffin lamps and candles for lighting, use wood for cooking, whose smoke has the potential of causing cancer and other related illnesses
