The Apaa land conflict which is estimated to have led to the death of 23 people is not about to end with UPDF announcing that those calling for the National army to vacate are the same people who will blame the government after the Apaa land conflict escalates.
According to the 4th infantry division PRO Telesphor Turyamumanya, the UPDF moved into Apaa to diffuse the situation in this land gazetted for wildlife and forestry.
However, the residents allege that the national army is behind the killings, and Action Aid Uganda has given 200 tarpaulins to rescue children whom they say have been sleeping under the trees.
