Police at Makerere University have arrested one of the supporters of David Mwotta for allegedly trying to stuff ballot boxes.
Close to 2,000 Students at the School of Education at Makerere University are in a re-election to determine the university’s legitimate guild president.
This is after the results of the election held in March were contested by one of the candidates Roy Sembogga over irregularities, in which Mwotta was declared winner.
Police have deployed heavily at the university; by press time the election exercise was peaceful.
