Shock and grief have befallen residents of Dining Village in Kamuli Town Council, Kamuli District, after a renowned health worker murdered her only two children in cold blood.

Hasifah Nakato, aged 25, went to her father’s house, Hajji Kayima Yasin, with one of her sons, Mukoza Sharif, aged 2, whom she first locked inside one of the bedrooms before picking another, Waibi Mohamad, from Bright Future P/S, where he had gone for school.

She locked the duo in one bedroom and slaughtered them using a sharp knife.

After the incident she jumped on a boda boda and took off, later sending her father a message alerting him of the murder she had committed in the house.

Urban TV caught up with weeping Baleseeki Mohamad, the father to the deceased, who said he had no misunderstandings with his wife and wondered what could have insinuated her to committing such an act.

Residents who spoke to us said that Hasifah was a health worker who had worked in Nabirama Health Center II before opening up 2 clinics in Kamuli Town Council.

Although some believe she had a mental disorder, many disagree, seeing as she personally operated her clinics on a daily basis.

Eyewitnesses condemned the act of murder.

Busoga North Police Spokesperson Kasadha Micheal confirmed the incident, saying that though the suspect is still at large, police has mounted a hunt for her.
