Joel Muhindo is an African RnB and Afrobeat Artist popularly known by his stage name Jay Silver. He was born in DRC Congo in 1996, raised and studied in Uganda. His love for music started when he was still a young boy and drew him to both sing and play musical instruments in Church including but not limited Drums and guitar this helped shape him for his musical career. In the hunt for career growth, he left Uganda in 2014 and moved to Sweden where he is currently living, working and pursuing his musical career. After strategically staging himself in the music industry, he decided to grow his music base and join the Ugandan market which he struck by releasing his first Luganda Song titled Ntwaala to make it an inclusive song.
Jay Silver studied Construction building from Sweden and he is currently a father of one. He has released numerous albums including hit songs like Cheri, Ntwaala, Shake Body, Whine 4 Me among others.
Jay Silver has participated in various Music and Fashion events and has won the African Crown international award winner of people’s choice.
He revealed in a recent interview that he got his inspiration from Fally Ipupa for his musical career.
