Did you know that investments in early childhood development yield 7 times more? According to UNICEF findings, for every dollar spent on early childhood care, there is at least a seven dollar return in adulthood.
The UN is to use these findings to invest in early childhood interventions especially in developing countries like Uganda to achieve more sustainable growth, and break generations of poverty.
The Ugandan government has earmarked 1.2 trillion shillings for enforcing the early childhood development policy in the 5 years.
