KCCA health facilities have received close to 20 interpreters and medical equipment to cater for the surging number of refugees seeking medical services.

According to InterAid Uganda, Kampala alone has over 70,000 refugees from across the world and the lack of interpreters in public health facilities has greatly limited access to health services to refugees in Uganda.

The interpreters who are also refugees will be working on a voluntary basis.
