Government has set out to increase the fight against crime by beefing human and financial resources in the judiciary. During the second cabinet meeting held at State House Entebbe on Thursday, cabinet listed three priority action points to consider in addition to the twelve listed by President Yoweri Museveni last week.

The cabinet has called for responsible media reporting and intelligent monitoring using IT systems.

The third priority is to ensure organized urban planning that is good for the environment, tourism and job creation.

Besides the routine cabinet meetings that will be held every Wednesday of the week, the president Museveni is set to periodically meet different ministry teams to assess strategies and progress.
