The Federation of International Football Associations (FIFA) has resolved the impasse between the National Council of Sports and Federation of Uganda Football Associations (FUFA).

Following a closed door meeting involving all parties held at the Ministry of Education and Sports offices, FIFA delegates Luca Nicola and Rolf Tanner have given a leeway to FUFA to register under Trusteeship.

FUFA had strongly objected to the NCS directive claiming that is against the FIFA statutes and that it would prompt the international body to ban Uganda. FUFA has a grace period of one month to register.
