- DPP dismisses call to exonerate Baguma of murder charges
- DPP says interests of victims do not drive criminal justice
- Baguma and co-accused to appear in court for mention of case
The Directorate of Public Prosecution (DPP) has dismissed demands by the family of late Betty Dona Katushabe to exonerate jailed former Central Police Station boss, Aaron Baguma of murder charges.
The Directorate’s spokesperson, Jane Kajuga says criminal justice is not driven by interests of the victims.
The late Katusabe’s relatives want Baguma acquitted on grounds that he has helped them seek justice thus far.
