In another meeting, Religious leaders have asked the parliament to put in place a committee on constitutional reforms to ensure transparency in the proposed amendments.
According to the archbishop of Kampala Archdiocese, Cyprian Kizito Lwanga, the citizens will continue to criticize the amendments unless they are consulted first and sensitized about the need for the reforms.
He adds that one put in place, the committee should carry out surveys, country- wide consultations and sensitization on the proposed amendments.
