Over 60,000 coffee farmers from Kasese and Kamwenge Districts are to benefit from a new deal sealed between Uganda Coffee Development Authority and Hima Cement.
The Chief Executive Officer Hima Cement, Daniels Peterson says the partnership will ensure that 20 million coffee seedlings are supplied and Hima Cement buys the husks from the farmers during the harvest season.
The project seeks to promote coffee growing in Uganda and also help farmers easily access market for their products.
