Former Vice president Gilbert Bukenya has quit politics and is now concentrating on his private works of farming and consultancy across the globe.
Bukenya made the announcement as he received his new mandatory emolument of a vehicle from State Minister for Public Service, David Karubanga, at the ministry headquarters in Wandegeya yesterday.
The former VP says he is now to focus on working on his farms. He adds that he spent over 20 years without putting what he studied in practice and that now is the time to do so.
Bukenya says he will also continue with his consultancy work and looks forward to working hand in hand with Government to help Ugandans develop and live a better life.
