Thugs who gained access into BRAC premises on Monday night and killed a senior Manager, a Bangladesh national were armed with a gun and knives, a survivor has told Urban TV.
Speaking from his hospital bed at Lira Medical Centre, James Awor says four attackers entered the premise after 8pm, taking advantage of a heavy downpour, beating him into comma before attacking his boss.
He says he does not know how the attackers entered the premise because the main gate was locked.
The deceased, Ahmed MD Mainuddin was only two months old in Lira as Area Manager in charge of Small Enterprise Project (SEP). His body is set to be flown back to his home for burial.
