Nakawa Chief Magistrate His worship James Ereemye has turned down a request to transfer Dr. Kiiza Besigye’s treason case to Luzira court.

Ereemye says the reason is not justifiable and has instead asked police to provide needed security.

The opposition leader’s case hearing has been adjourned to 29th June 2016 following a request by prosecution for two more weeks to gather relevant evidence.

Meanwhile, police have arrested Ingrid Turinawe after she allegedly incited chaos in protest to the adjournment of the case.
